So here I am again.

New year, new attempt at blogging.

I never used to be so bad & unmodivated & uninsipired when it came to writing. Heck, I MAJORED in writing in College!! Seems like a waste... I used to be pretty good & funny. I must make a New Year's Resolution to write more. Is February too late to commit to that?

Too much stuff has been happening.

Corey & I got our FIRST real house. It's pretty surreal actually. I like that I can just kinda, do my own thing, whenever I want, but I HATE that it's so quiet & lonely when he's gone. I think that we are going to be adding a new addition to our home in March............................. yeah, we are so totally getting a DOG! Haha. Yeah, all you baby hopefuls will just have to wait a little longer.  

I was so happy to unpack my beautiful dishes. I am so happy that I get to use them everyday. They are the ones that Corey & I got when he was in CONNECTICUT, whoa, was that a LONG time ago or what?? Yeah, pretty much a whole year ago. Crazy.

I'm working as a second teacher @ a school for dyslexic students. My class is full of 5th & 6th graders. I knew that it was a HARD job. I never thought that it would be THIS hard. I'm beginning to feel a little burned out. I just wish that my class cared a little bit more. Maybe they do care about me, but they sure don't act like it. I would hope that someone who cared would try just a little bit to make an effort to control themselves better! It's just frustrating & so different from the job that I used to have. I'm toughing it out though.

My sister Scyntha moved back to my parent's house. She decided to go to college in Hawaii instead of Alabama. Everyone is glad to have her home. I'm glad to have someone to be with when Corey's gone. LOL, no, seriously, I'm glad to have her home. We haven't been able to hang out as much as we have since high school! We have been Veronica Mars-a-thoning. We have started on Season One because she hasn't seen it & I haven't seen it for like 3 years! Crazy, but it's sososososo good!! I can't believe they canceled it, what were they thinking!?! Also, I got Grey's Anatomy, Seasons 1, 2, & 3, so that's going to be exciting to watch back to back as well. :)

Corey & I celebrated our First Anniversary on December 22nd. It was crazy but fun. It's so Weird to think that we have been married for a whole year already!! We stayed at a nice (but overpriced) hotel & totally ate the top of our wedding cake. Corey was so jazzed. He hadn't been able to eat any of the cake @ the wedding!! LOL He ate almost the whole thing. It was surprisingly (or not) still really good even though it was a little dry.

I'm not sure what else has been happening. I guess these are the biggie things. Anyways, I have Corey's computer now & I will make like a desktop shortcut so I can remember to write. It's like such a great stress reliever! Also, it would be cool if xanga had like a desktop updater like how LJ does. I love Eljay. & this is so weird & random, but the bathtub & bathroom sinks in my house are totally made by a company called ELJAYER. LOL!! I think of LJ fondly everytime I see it. Haha.

Okay, I'm off to go do... something more productive. Like go back to sleep. It's totally like 6:26 a.m. in Hawaii right now. I'm a crazy, crazy girl.

 I got back from CT yesterday.  [sad face]
It was a long flight. Boston to Atlanta to LA to Honolulu.
Left at 10:30 a.m. [Eastern] [which is 4:30 a.m. Hawaiian Time] & got to Hawaii at 10:30 p.m. [Hawaiian Time] [which is 4:30 a.m. Eastern]. Brilliant. 18 hours of traveling. 

I almost gave up my seat in Atlanta for $1200 Delta Dollars which would have totally paid for my flight back to VA for graduation, but alas, I'm chicken!!

I'm planning on making a big update about my trip with pictures & all that jazz, maybe tomorrow, maybe Wednesday, maybe sometime soon. I'm kinda in that blah mood, you know, just got back, miss the hubby like crazy.

It didn't really hit me until this afternoon when I was talking to him & he was getting ready for bed. It made me think about how I wasn't getting ready for bed with him.  Awh, that's when it hit me. Hard. But I'm trying to stay positive. He'll be home in about 3 weeks. I'll just hold onto that.

I think I'm gonna go lay down. I didn't go to work today because I was tired [& sick], so I think I might go to bed or at least rest some.

p.s. That guy, on Prision Break, think his name is Wentworth Miller, is a hottie. I thought you should know that. Haha.

Hey, just checking in while Corey is at school/work.. [boo for school/work, of course when I come to visit he has to stay at work until 4 in the afternoon!! :(]

Anyways, things are good so far, except for the unexpected SNOW! I got off the plane & was totally shocked that it was snowing. I didn't really pack for snow, darn you weather.com! Haha. Anyways, I think the worst is over. It's a little warmer today & most of the snow is melted.

We had a blast in Boston for St. Patrick's Day. It was crazy! We ended up staying in the bar at our hotel because it was so cold outside. I seriously had the best corned beef & cabbage that I've ever had. :)

Then we went to Salem to explore a little. We didn't go in the witch museum, but we checked out the wax museum because Corey wanted to. It wasn't too bad. We also took some pictures with the various statues around the town. Corey decided that no one would even visit Salem if it weren't for the whole Witch Trial thing.

We've been staying in New London, CT with Lara & Sara. It's been nice. Lara, Sara & I went for a drive to Old Saybrook yesterday, but we couldn't find it!! HAha.. How great is that? We had lunch at Panera Bread <3 my favorite!! Oh, it was so good & it warmed me up!

Tonight Corey & I might go mini golfing. :) We'll see.

Anyways, that's my update for now. Hopefully there will be more of an update in a few more days! :)

Anyways, I'm leaving today to go to Connecticut to visit my husband! :) I'm excited. We are going to Boston, MA for St. Patrick's Day! I hear that's a wild party. Haha. :)

It's also Spring Break at school. Thank goodness! I'm so done with work! Haha.

Hmm.. I'm staying in CT for 2 weeks, so that means even less updates. Haha. I actually wish I had more to write about. Blah blah, this must be so boring! I'll update with some pictures when I get back though. :)

Okay, I gotta pack some more. Only 6ish hours until I go to the airport.
I'm flying into LA for refueling, then Cincinatti/No. Kentucky [is it Kentucky or Ohio???!?! LOL] & then on to Boston. I'll get there tomorrow! Gah, long flight, but totally worth it! :)
